The Hobson Conxtruct Class 8.8 External Hex Chemical Anchor Stud Kit is designed for high-performance chemical anchoring applications in concrete and masonry substrates.
Manufactured from high-tensile Class 8.8 steel and finished in hot dip galvanising to AS 1214, these chemical anchor studs provide excellent load capability together with increased corrosion protection.
Unlike conventional notched chemical studs, the absence of a notch provides greater flexibility in drilling depth and the thickness of the member being anchored. This makes the range particularly useful where deeper embedment or greater installation flexibility is required.
The stud incorporates a chisel point and an external hex drive, allowing the anchor to be driven during installation. Selected External Hex Drive Stud Anchors are supplied with an external hex drive in each pack.
As a chemical anchoring system, the studs are particularly suited to applications requiring non-expansion type fasteners, including installations where closer edge distances and spacing are required.
