Description
The BDX s500 Flanged Hex Head Self-Drilling Screw is a premium metal-to-metal roofing fastener designed for demanding steel fixing applications. Its extended drill point and fine 24 TPI thread allow self-drilling in steel up to 12mm thickness, making it suitable for insulated roofing panels, crest fixing and general metal roofing installations.
Manufactured from hardened C1022 steel and finished with X9 ProteXion® coating, the BDX s500 offers excellent corrosion resistance suitable for ISO 9223 Category 4 environments. The integrated flanged hex head provides increased bearing surface and secure installation using a standard 5/16″ hex drive.
