Description
Thunderbolt® PRO Pan Head is ICCONS’ ETA-approved, single-piece screw-bolt anchor for structural fixings in cracked and uncracked concrete. The pan head gives a clean, low-profile finish and uses an internal T45 Torx drive for excellent bit engagement and quick install.
Key features
- Approved for axial and angular loading; ETA Option 1 (AS 5216 compliant) with Seismic C1 & C2 for Ø8 sizes.
- Removable, immediate loading, and impact-driver compatible (observe max impact torque).
- Three finishes:
- Zinc Yellow – internal use.
- Nautilus® C – corrosion-resistant coating for external urban/industrial environments.
- 316 stainless steel (A4) – maximum corrosion resistance.
- Typical applications: glazing and storefronts, railings, racking and shelving, timber/steel frame to concrete, HVAC/fire services.
Installation essentials
- Base material: concrete (cracked or uncracked).
- Drill diameter: 8 mm.
- Clearance hole in fixture: 12 mm.
- Drive: T45 Torx (use BTI050T45 or equivalent).
