Part of Sterling’s Black Panther 700 Series, these 185mm snips feature precision-sharpened Japanese stainless steel blades with a serrated cutting edge for increased cutting capacity. The blades are hardened to 53 HRC for durability and consistent cutting performance.
The spring-loaded mechanism provides smooth, resistance-free action for fast and precise cutting, while the adjustable pivot, friction washer and security lock nut provide a robust cutting mechanism.
Ergonomically designed ambidextrous soft-grip handles feature anti-slip ridges for improved grip and control. The handles are manufactured from impact and solvent-resistant TPR material, making the snips suitable for professional workshop and industrial environments.
The Black Panther snips are designed as an effective knife replacement tool and can be used across a wide range of materials including cable, light gauge aluminium, sheet metal, carpet, Kevlar®, leather, rubber, wire netting and gardening materials.
A convenient integrated wire cutter can also be used on light gauge wire and cable up to Ø2.5mm.
